Happy Easter!!
I was in an old school frame of mind today. My mind led me to the James Bond classic “Live and let Die”, which featured Mr. Greffrey Holder.
I recall the 7-UP commercials Mr. Holder starred in as a child, the voice on this gent was amazing and his presence was equally captivating.
As you look at this commercial, ask yourself:
Could I wear that cravat?
Would I look as cool pouring that beverage into a cognac glass?
What do I have to do to relax like that?
I can’t answer any of the above, yet still enjoy the talent and and overall style of Mr. Holder.
Enjoy..
Dr. J. has always been a benchmark of class. This gentleman radiates refinement. Whether leading the break, or towering over his opponent, Dr. J did it all with a paramount level of class. Overall, “The fish that saved Pittsburgh” was a non-memorable film, yet the scene listed below has always been one of my all time favorites. Listen to the music, see the exquisite Rolls Royce, admire the formfitting sweater and tailored trousers (keep in mind, Dr. J completed this scene in patent leather shoes). This gentleman gets out of the Rolls and gives the beautiful, Ms. Margaret Avery an education on what the game of basketball helped him achieve.
No one does it Better.
Creator | Gentleman | Visionary
Originally airing in Chicago in 1970, Soul Train built an international cult following and went on to become one of televisions most influential shows. The wardrobe worn by this gentleman was unparalleled. The Suits always fit perfect, the color combinations were incredible these two sartorial elements, coupled with the musical guest and dancers provided great TV. Do an exploration on any search engine and witness indelible (decade specific) suit perfection.
The fit of this suit is awesome, top to bottom

Effortless style, movement and presence
Being a fan of Sammy Davis Jr., James Brown, Michael Jackson, Fred Astaire, Gregory Hines and countless others, one cannot forget this stylish duo. No matter how difficult the foot task, Fayard and Harold Nicholas completed seamless dance routines, with impeccable style and grace. I am continually amazed by the duos innovative style of dance, vocal talent, presence and sartorial excellence. To witness professionalism, talent and style merge for such a regal result, is a blessing.
Thank you gentlemen.
The Cool
I wonder, when these photos of Mr. Brando were taken, did he know he was killing it? I am sure he did. Some gentlemen were born for the silver screen. “Brando” as my Father called him, was a Saturday-Sunday television matinee favorite growing up. My father would say, “Son this is one of the coolest men on the planet!” After growing up and doing my own research, I now agree. Brando was a class act and remains one of the best to ever hold the attention of millions with sheer talent and style.

The God Father Of Soul!!
One of my dear clients showed this clip to me, after viewing it (over 30 times) I was so amazed. The spin Mr. Brown applies to this standard is outstanding. The focal point of this site is fashion. Please look at the fit of this suit. The cut of the jacket, the fit and break on the trouser, the man could wear a suit. It would be extremely difficult to duplicate the movements Mr. Brown demonstrates with relative ease.
Mr. Brown, how many ways can I thank you? Thank you for making millions of Men, Women and children proud to be themselves. Thank you for such brilliant footwork and movement. Thank you for the great voice, the vast landscape of music and the artist of all races you continue to inspire (present company included).
Extra: I don’t want nobody (Open up the door) | Look at the suit and listen to the lyrics on this one.
